After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from Columbia College, Erica quickly transitioned from hosting her own Emmy Award-winning television show Up'N Running to starring in major film and television projects, including Save the Last Dance, A Cinderella Story, Light It Up, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Lincoln Heights, Let's Stay Together, and Akeelah and the Bee. Her work also includes voice acting on Disney’s animated series The Replacements.
