Los Angeles, CA — The Leimert Park Music Series is back for its 8th electrifying showcase on Monday, October 27th, promising another unforgettable night of music, culture, and community at the legendary World Stage in Leimert Park. Presented by 247 Live Culture, this grassroots series continues to thrive as one of Los Angeles’ most inspiring platforms for rising Black creatives—centered on authenticity, artistic excellence, and community elevation.
This month’s lineup features a vibrant mix of talent, including rappers Solomon Hayes, Dru Kadafii, and Omar Cook, as well as singer NahniiA, bringing a powerful blend of lyrical skill, soulful expression, and heartfelt performance. Following the main showcase, an open mic session will give all local artists an opportunity to share their voice and connect directly with the community, making this a night for both rising stars and new talent to shine.
With tickets priced at just $10, the Leimert Park Music Series remains one of the most accessible and welcoming cultural events in Los Angeles—open to anyone bringing positive energy and a love for authentic artistry. Over the past year, the series has featured more than 30 talented performers, transforming the World Stage into a sanctuary for music lovers, poets, and culture shapers alike. Each month, the event continues to set a new standard for elevating Black voices through music and poetry, celebrating community, creativity, and connection.

Founded in 1989 by legendary jazz drummer Billy Higgins and acclaimed poet Kamau Daáood, The World Stage is a historic cultural institution located in the heart of Leimert Park. For over 30 years, it has served as a sanctuary for Black artistic expression—hosting jazz greats, poets, musicians, and visionaries. Today, it continues to be a space where creativity, activism, and community intersect.
