Brandy Unveils Cover and Release Date For New Memoir ‘Phases’

Brandy’s highly anticipated memoir, PHASES, will hit the shelves in Spring of 2026. In an announcement by Hanover Square Press, the book will be co-written by Gerrick Kennedy and will be available for purchase March 31st, 2026. The New York Based book publisher also revealed the book’s cover featuring the GRAMMY Award winner at her most elegant.   

The book will cover all of the singer’s monumental highs to her once highly protected lows. From her McComb, Mississippi upbringing, to signing her first record deal at the tender age of 14, going platinum a year later, starring in the acclaimed sitcom ‘Moesha’, to making history as the First Black actress to portray a Disney princess, ‘PHASES’ will give fans a raw in-depth view into her life.

Self-described as a “more than a book,” the multi platinum artist described her memoir as a “reflection of resilience, hope and rediscovering myself beyond the fame, the music and the spotlight.”

Brandy and Bryson Tiller to headline the "Fall Back In Love Comedy and Music Jam" in Las Vegas this weekend, Friday June 14th, at the Thomas & Mack Center. It’ll be Ms. Norwood’s first live performance of 2024.

The award winning songstress, also known as “The Vocal Bible”, will be accompanied by some of the brightest stars in music and comedy. In a statement the 45-year-old singer shared her excitement for reconnecting with her fans on stage and also what fans can expect from the overall experience of the upcoming event.

“I can’t tell you how excited I am to be back on stage, and headlining this incredible show in Vegas is just the icing on the cake. I’ve missed connecting with my fans live so much, and I’m so ready to share this experience. We’ve been pouring our hearts into this show, and trust me, it’s going to be a whole vibe. Bryson Tiller will co-headline the event with additional musical acts including Kelly Price, Lloyd, Bobby Valentino, Eric Bellinger, Sammie, Pleasure P and more. Wild ‘N Out alums DC Young Fly, Michael Blackson, Lil Duval and others will be featured on the comedic side. Other talent slated to grace the stage include B Simone, Torrei Hart, Zoie Fenty, Conceited, Justina Valentine and more.

Wild ‘N Out veteran Rip Michaels is slated to host the event with music by DJ Envy of The Breakfast Club.

Brandy Announces New Christmas Album

Christmas will never be the same, as R&B songstress Brandy is set to release a collection of songs this holiday season. A&R executive Jaha Johnson took to social media to reveal the singer's next project, while also dropping a possible hint at the title for the upcoming festive album: 'A Brandy Christmas.'

Further examination of the whiteboard in the clip also provides a glimpse of how many songs could be included on the LP. Ramsey can be seen placing 11 titles on the board as he attempts to arrange them in order. Fans can also spot some of the potential track titles from the holiday album. The introduction appears to be called “Feels Different,” while the second track is titled “Celebrate My Baby.”

While a date for the Christmas album wasn’t given, it could coincide with Brandy’s next film. In March 2022, Brandy revealed she is set to star in Netflix’s original film, Best. Christmas. Ever.

The comedy directed by Mary Lambert will feature the singer playing the role of Jackie, a woman with a seemingly perfect life. However, when a 'twist of fate' unexpectedly reconnects Jackie with her old college friend, Charlotte (Heather Graham), just before Christmas, Charlotte is determined to prove that Jackie's life isn't as spectacular as it seems. Her attempts to expose Jackie end up doing more harm than good, and Christmas is nearly ruined. It's up to the two of them to right the wrongs. The film also stars Jason Biggs from Orange Is The New Black and Matt Cedeno from 'Power.' Best. Christmas. Ever is scheduled to be released on Netflix on November 16, 2023.
